The event will be hosted by the Orcas Island Fire Department – 45 Lavender Ln\, Eastsound. \nPlane parking will be available at Orcas Island Airport (147 Schoen Lane Eastsound\, WA 98245). DESCRIPTION:Our next virtual Zoom town hall takes place Wednesday\, June 26 at 12:30 p.m. PST. \nTopic – New Volunteer Info Session – Register Today! \nAFW volunteer pilot Sean Oswald will provide helpful\, step-by-step information on navigating the volunteer portal to view and sign up for missions. Additionally\, Sean will share his experience flying with Angel Flight West and address some common questions or concerns pilots may have before flying a first mission. Since joining AFW in 2017\, Sean has donated 159 flights for patients to access far-off medical care. \nThis town hall is targeted toward new and prospective AFW volunteer pilots\, and those that are new to flying missions\, but we encourage current Command Pilots to join to show support. \nRegister Today! \nPlease note\, new volunteer info sessions will take place quarterly moving forward\, rotating between evening and lunchtime offerings. \nTown hall sessions last anywhere between 30 minutes and an hour.
