Who We Help

Free flights for people who:

  • Can’t afford commercial travel
  • Face physical, logistical, or financial barriers (we do not ask for income information) to getting care
  • Live in remote or rural areas

Types of Flights

  • Medical treatment
  • Caregiver travel
  • Specialty camps
  • Domestic violence and other safety relocations
  • Military support
  • Disaster response

How It Works

  1. Submit your flight application – Anyone can request the flight on your behalf.
    1. Please reach out to us at least seven days in advance of the anticipated travel date.
    2. Allow one companion to travel with the main passenger.
    3. Allow one carry-on appropriate luggage per passenger.
    4. Recommend a back-up travel plan or the option to reschedule care.
  2. Volunteer pilots – Fly you in small private planes at no cost.
  3. Volunteer drivers – Provide ground transportation to/from your destination airport when available.
  4. Return home safely – We handle all coordination to fly you home.
 

All flights are completely free. You may request as many flights as you need to access care.

We are not an air ambulance. If the you or the patient requires medical support on board or cannot walk or sit upright independently, then we are not an appropriate service for help.

Where We Fly

We serve 12 Western States: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

  • Up to 900 miles each way
  • Partner with Alaska Airlines for Alaska & Hawai’i residents traveling to the mainland (limited to two round-trip commercial tickets per calendar year)

The photos above show the types of small, general aviation aircraft our volunteer pilots generally fly to transport passengers to their medical appointments. These are not commercial airliners, but privately owned or rented planes designed for shorter trips.
