Free Medical Transportation

If you have a rare condition, need specialized medical treatment or surgery, have a difficult-to-diagnose illness, or have a child with a serious medical condition, you may need to travel long distances to receive care at a hospital or medical center with the expertise you need.

While health insurance often covers the cost of treatment, it rarely pays for transportation. The expense of travel can prevent patients and their families from accessing life-changing or lifesaving care.

Angel Flight West helps remove that barrier by arranging free medical transportation for eligible patients. Depending on your travel needs and location, we may provide transportation through our network of volunteer pilots or, when appropriate, donated commercial airline tickets.
