For more than 40 years, Angel Flight West has helped thousands of people get to the medical care and other essential services they need by arranging free flights flown by volunteer pilots. These dedicated volunteer pilots donate their time, private aircraft, and resources to provide free, non-emergency flights for people who might otherwise struggle to access essential medical care across 12 Western states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawai’i, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
Together, we’ve coordinated more than 110,000 flights — all provided at no cost to the passengers we serve.

How to Request a Flight
- Check eligibility with our chatbot. It will walk you through a few simple questions to see if you or your patient may qualify for the program.
- If you may qualify for a free flight, you’ll be prompted to submit an online flight request. Anyone can request a flight on the patient’s behalf.
- Connect with our coordination team. A coordinator will reach out to confirm details and help schedule the trip.
