When weather or location keeps our volunteer pilots from flying, or when someone needs help with ground transportation between airports and medical facilities, our Dr. Randy Sherman Access for All Fund allows AFW to purchase airline tickets, bus tickets, and even rideshare services to make travel possible for people in need.

Dear Angel Flight West team and Dr. Randy Sherman Access for All Fund Supporters,
Words feel so inadequate to express the depth of my gratitude, but I hope these photos convey the joy and relief I’m feeling.
Thanks to your incredible generosity and the Dr. Randy Sherman Access for All Fund, I was able to make my Angel Flight to Ridley Tree Cancer Center for my crucial treatments. This journey simply wouldn’t have been possible without your support.
When my pilot had to cancel at the last minute due to mechanical problems, I wasn’t sure the journey would be possible, but your team’s swift and compassionate response was truly a lifeline. They worked diligently and quickly to schedule my Southwest flight, ensuring I wouldn’t miss a vital treatment.
And the best news? During this very trip, I received the most wonderful update: my tumors are shrinking! This news has filled my heart with hope and made all the difference in the world. The consistency of my treatments, made possible by your kindness, has been absolutely pivotal.
