Carlos Zendejas has been with Alaska Air Group for 18 years. An airline captain, he has been the Manager of Line Flying and Seattle Base Chief for Alaska Airlines and is currently Vice President of Flight Operations for Horizon Air. Previously, he served in the Air Force for 22 years as an Instructor Pilot/Aircraft Commander, Evaluator/Instructor Pilot, and Chief of Standardization/Evaluation, and later as a Lead Command Evaluator Pilot in the Air Force Reserves. Carlos is Alaska Airlines’ representative to the Airlines for America National Pilot Sourcing Forum and sits on the Aviation Board of Directors at Green River College.
