The AFW Board of Directors and Safety Committee has approved volunteer pilots utilizing certified rotor aircraft and helicopters to transport patients to/from treatment. In particular, we hope these can be useful for shorter hops and/or re-positioning legs connecting patients to facilities closest to their care.
