Thank you for inquiring about our services. Here is some useful information about Angel Flight West and what we do:

Angel Flight West arranges free, non-emergency air transportation donated by volunteer pilots in small, private planes for medical patients to and from their treatment centers. We also arrange “compassion flights” for non-patients traveling for reasons such as, but not limited to, visiting a terminally ill family member, domestic violence relocation, and special needs camps. We do not fly for funerals and we are not an “air ambulance.”

• We require that all passengers we fly be medically stable, as well as ambulatory, meaning they are able to walk and get in and out of the aircraft with minimal to no assistance. Please watch the video in the link below for more info: https://youtu.be/GuZeANTxLto
• We require 7 days’ notice before we fly a patient so we have enough time to find an available pilot(s). You must also have a medical appointment already scheduled in order for you to submit a request.  Please also have the contact information for your social worker or other medical professional at hand before submitting a flight request. 
• Please know we do not guarantee our flights will always take place, and although we are very good about finding pilots, we may need to cancel due to weather or mechanical difficulties or the inability to find a volunteer pilot.
