AFW Colorado 5K & Fly-In

Join us for the AFW Colorado 5K & Fly-In for a day of aviation, networking, and community! Whether you’re flying in or driving in, everyone is welcome to attend.
5K: For the past nine years, HDR has proudly hosted the Run for the Angels 5K in support of Angel Flight West. We hope you, our volunteers, will join us for this special morning so we can celebrate together and recognize you. Not a runner? Not a problem. Walk the 5K or help us cheer on other participants!
Aircraft Display: We need a few pilots to sign up to display your aircraft on the runway. Please reach out to [email protected] if you’d like to fly in and display your aircraft by September 11. Arrival time is around 7:30 a.m.
Fly-In: Following the 5K, pilots are invited to fly into Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (RMMA) for the Colorado Fly-In and fellowship with fellow volunteers. The morning will include an early lunch, networking, and Wings credit safety speaker Phillip Tilleman. Phillip Tilleman is a Master CFI, SAFE Ambassador, and FAASTeam Representative who teaches independently throughout the Denver Metro area.
