Angel Flight West is proud to welcome two new board members to our team this year: Georgia Griffiths and Bill Banta. Both Georgia and Bill join the AFW Board with a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and passion. Georgia and Bill have both been volunteer pilots with Angel Flight West for over ten years, and we are thrilled to have them serve in this new capacity as we continue to deliver health, hope, and happiness throughout our region.
Bill Banta, Ketchum, ID
Bill Banta is Operating Partner at Symphony.is, a software design and development company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Virginia and a master’s in business administration from Stanford Graduate School. Bill previously held senior level positions at Apple and Amazon. An AFW volunteer pilot since 2011, he flies an EADS TBM 700.
Georgia Griffiths, Encinitas, CA & Glide, OR
Georgia Griffiths is the Founder and CEO of G2 Software Systems. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from CSU Long Beach and a master’s degree in computer science from the University of California, and has received numerous awards including Large Business CEO of the Year and San Diego Magazine’s Woman of the Year. An AFW volunteer since 2007, Georgia flies a Cirrus SR22.
